AP cruise journalEnglish

I participated in the incentive tour “AP cruise” with USANA members from May 11th to 17th.
Those who are qualified for this incentive are selected among the associate members who have had their annual amount commission increased, comparing with the preceding year.

The cruise was the first exciting experience even for me but what’s more, it was more impressive and memorable to be able to have communication with associate members through the unusual circumstances.
I realized the importance of business retreat again.

So anyway, we cruised with Mariner of the seas of loyal Caribbean this time. It was 138thausand tons, Voyager class, and seems the biggest ship in the world in the 90th even though it is said medium size nowadays.
But it was still too huge to take a photo of the entire ship. Capacity was 3800 passengers and 1000 crews and it was rather more like a town than a ship.
A theatre, an ice skate link, a fitness gym, a shopping mall, a casino, restaurants, a bar, cafes, a library, swimming pools, bubble baths, mini golf courses, an in-line skate area, basketball coats, a rock-climbing space and etc etc……it would be almost impossible to enjoy all facility during the cruise.

We stayed Shanghai over a night and embarked the next day, 12th Monday. It took about two hours till we all boarded ship due to the number of passengers. And we finished training for evacuation, it was already sun set when sailing for Jeju-Island.

We spent on the ship all the day next day, 13th and had a general session in the morning. 6 top leaders gave us speeches and it was agreeable with one presentation “USANA business is like chopsticks”.
As chopsticks would not work separate, we would need a set of our products and business. He said many people tend to be concerned either of them but it would not be a good idea to think of only one side. That was exactly what I have been feeling on the position as a representative director.
We luxuriated in the special unique situation on the ship in the afternoon.

We arrived at Jeju-Island on the 14th, and some of us enjoyed fresh sea foods and other relaxed on the ship. The captain organized dinner for us that night and we had a good time after getting dressed up.
Incidentally dishes were immensely opulent. We sat the same tables every night and got served by the same waiters who entertained us. The dinner course started appetizers, main dishes and desserts and we could choose anything as many as we wanted from ten kinds of menus free. They were amazingly delicious.
We went for drinks to discuss future USANA with some members after dinner. This was the most meaningful time during the trip because I guess we can hardly have such precious time to have heart-to-heart talk in MLM business. There anyway exists conflict of interest between the company and distributors. However, we got it over this time and could share our opinions and visions. This experience made me look forward to upcoming USANA as I can happily inform that USANA Japan has been currently grown up successfully even though I know it would be hard to keep it up.

We arrived at Inchon on 15th. I had Korean barbeques in Myeong-dong in Seoul with members. Not only food, but also did we enjoy open chatting. Then I talked to the sales manager in Korea office and the customer service manager in Taiwan office at night. We found out our serious spirits again.

The next day 16th was the last day of the tour and we spent time as we liked. I and some members took a bubble bath on the deck surrounded neon lights at night while truthful conversation. Enough sure, the cozy space makes us open.


The reason why USANA constantly plans this kind of incentives is because we believe the more people aim for it, the more we can give the business momentum.
The incentives are either a cruise or Bali this year. It is necessary to register to opt in the activity. The dead line has been extended, until June 30th.
